FORMER EPIC PRO WRESTLING PROMOTER GARY YAP ARRESTED ON FRAUD AND CHILD ENDAGERMENT CHARGES

The website Socaluncensored.com has reported that former promoter for EPIC Pro Wrestling Gary Yap was arrested in Murrieta, California Thursday 8/5. He was charged with four counts of Petty Theft, one of Grand Theft, and one count of Child Endangerment.

The report says that Yap illegally used someone's credit card three times as well as writing a check using the same person's account. (Sounds like the Steve Corino incident doesnt it?)

He was also charged with Child Endagerment for leaving a 10 year old alone in a hotel room. Probably when law enforcement showed up to arrest Yap, they found the child alone.

Yap is currently being held at the Soutwest Detention Center, and bail was set at $15,000. He is set to return to court August 9th at the Southwest Justice Center (Murrieta, CA) for a hearing.

As we have done with other criminal cases in the past such as Steve Corino, Dick Slater, Lex Luger and others, we will monitor this as well as keep you abreast on the case.

If you would like, you can view the Riverside County Sheriff's file on Yap regarding his charges by clicking HERE.
