WWE.com Posts Final Eight Participants For $1,000,000 Tough Enough
Below is the press release WWE.com released regarding the final eight participants of $1,000,000 Tough Enough. On the heels of the Divas Search fiasco of Christy / Carmella (see our article on the right), I am skeptical of the legitimacy in the voting. However if you ask me, I think Daniel Puder is one we like to take it all. Even though WWE doesn't mention it, Puder has a mixed martial arts background and has a legitimate tough guy look and attitude. Then again, you have Mike Mizanin, who has an MTV background. Expect some way for him to avoid being eliminated early. You know, MTV demographic, WWE looking for exposure. The others, I know nothing about. Here's the wwe.com article:
Thousands of hopeful World Wrestling Entertainment Superstars auditioned for only eight spots in the $1,000,000 Tough Enough competition. After a grueling weekend of training, the final eight Tough Enough contestants have been selected. Get to know them below. Also, for more on the $1,000,000 Tough Enough competition, be sure to tune in to SmackDown! this Thursday (UPN, 8/7 CT).
JOHN MEYER
From: Costa Mesa, CA
Height: 6 foot 5
Weight: 230 pounds
John owns his own advertising business. A former high school and college basketball player, John was in the Navy from 1991 to 1993. He is very personable and claims to command his own destiny.
NICK MITCHELL
From: Magnolia, TX
Height: 6 foot 2
Weight: 250 pounds
For work, Nick sells gym memberships. This former Northwestern State football player also played in the AFL. He describes himself as outgoing and claims to have fans all over the country. Nick also goes by the nicknames “Cadillac” and “Big Booty Bandit.”
MIKE MIZANIN
From: Parma, OH
Height: 6 foot 1
Weight: 210 pound
Mike has appeared on five MTV reality shows. He was originally in Real World: Return to New York and is currently on Road Rules vs. Real World: Battle of the Sexes II. He also is on a speaking tour at numerous colleges. Mike created “The Miz,” a wrestling-like character which he unleashed as an angry, yet entertaining alter-ego on the Real World.
CHRIS NAWROCKI
From: Syosset, NY
Height: 6 foot 4
Weight: 260 pound
Chris works as a risk management consultant. He Played football, volleyball, basketball and baseball in high school. He also played football for Syracuse for a year. One of Chris' talents is the ability to make up songs on the spot with his guitar.
DANIEL PUDER
From: Sunnyvale, CA
Height: 6 foot 2
Weight: 235 pounds
In addition to being a student, Daniel owns a print and marketing company. He has also started a non-profit strength program for kids. He has excellent charisma and personality.
RYAN REEVES
From: Las Vegas, NV
Height: 6 foot 1
Weight: 275 pounds
Ryan is a student majoring in fitness management. While at UNLV, he played baseball. His mother has just published a health book. When Ryan was young, he won the opportunity to ring the bell at a WWE event.
