Wrestling-News.com Weekly Feature: OWNED (This Week's Pick: COREY STEWART)

Two weeks ago we debuted our new weekly feature to the site, simply titled 'OWNED'! It's sort of what WWE does every week with Jim Ross' WWE Superstar Of The Week. What ECW has with Joey Styles' Most Extreme Player Of The Week. Our version will focus who was absolutely OWNED this week.

Our inaugural pick was Tommy Dreamer.

Last week as The Game. Not the WWE superstar but the 'criminal minded' rapper.

It's amazing how in two short weeks, we are receiving a flurry of emails from readers anticipating who will be OWNED! this week! I am seriously thinking about trademarking this, and maybe even come up with some T-Shirt ideas. Thank you everyone who enjoy this.

This week's choice for OWNED! is a bit different. Because it does come with a positive ending. And unfortunately, this is 100% true.

Meet Corey Stewart. Two weeks back, he made a donation of $5 towards the fundraiser for Konnan to pay for his Kidney Transplant surgery. Now the amount is not the issue. I've said it from day one. Any amount helps. Even $1 is not too small. And when you read on, you'll understand why.

Anyway, he makes the $5 donation, receives the thank you email from Paypal and confirmations that his payment was accepted. Now I check the paypal totals every 5 days to get an update, so I can alert the generous wrestling world how this drive is doing. So last week when I checked Paypal for an update, I see a Paypal dispute. Much to my surprise, there's a Paypal dispute from Corey Stewart demanding his $5 back.

When I requested an explanation as to why, I received back the following response:

"I changed my f****ing mind, and I want my f*****ng money back. After giving the money, I realized that Konnan doesn't deserve sh**. He could have prevented his illness if he wasn't such a drug addict. Therefore, I want my money back."

I give him his $5 back. And I send him an email asking why did he donate in the first place. He responds back cursing me out, cursing Konnan out, and threatening to file a harassment complaint against me if I email him ever again.

So on last week's Minority Report webcast, I mentioned the poor bastard. I received several emails and messages from fans ripping Mr. Stewart apart. However yesterday when I checked the Paypal donations again, I found a nice surprise. Of the additional thousands received since last week, 56 donations between $1 and $10 were made by fans out there that was specifically related to the Corey Stewart matter. Some had your simple F*** You message to Corey. Others were a bit nicer. Others, well, is way to harsh for me to put in print. However, all of the donations including these will reach Konnan's hands. And he will see how generous so many people are out there for him.

As he said to me two weeks ago. The Hip Replacement surgery was the most painful experience he's ever had. Imagine having that surgery and not being able to receive the proper pain medication due to his bad kidney. It hurts just thinking about it.

So Corey, thank you for your help. Because of the harsh words and selfish, ignorant remarks you made, you generated another $300 towards the drive to pay for Konnan's surgery. You my friend are this week's choice for OWNED!. A piece of advice though. you are on your way to a lifetime of being OWNED! If you don't change your demeanor and attitude a bit.
